Direct, Inc. Mobile Banking App E-Sign Consent Agreement

Direct, Inc. (Direct) and its third-party service providers, including Engage Financial Technology, Inc. (Engage), may provide you with certain communications, notices, agreements and policies required to use our DIRECT Mobile Banking App (the “App”) or related services (“Services”) (including, but not limited to the Cardholder Agreement, Direct Home Rewards Terms and Conditions, Direct, Inc. Privacy Policy and the Engage Terms of Use), transaction or account notifications, account statements, or disclosures in writing (“Communications”) regarding our App and/or Services. Your agreement to this E-Sign Consent confirms your ability and consent to receive Communications electronically with respect to all of the Services from Direct, and its third-party service providers, and to the use of electronic signatures in our relationship with you (“Consent”). You further agree that your computer or other device satisfies the system requirements set forth below and that you have provided us with a current email address or phone number at which we may send you Communications. If you choose not to agree to this Consent or you withdraw your consent, you may be restricted from using the Services.

Electronic Delivery of Communications and Use of Electronic Signatures

Under this Consent, Direct may provide all Communications electronically by email, by text message, via the designated website directb.net or via the DIRECT Mobile Banking App.

System Requirements

  • To access and retain the electronic Communications, you will need:

  • An internet browser that supports encrypted connections over TLS v1 or higher.

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer version 10 or greater, Microsoft Edge Browser, a version of Google Chrome no more than 5 major increments behind the current release, a version of Mozilla Firefox no more than 5 major version increments behind the current release, a version of Safari no more than 2 major version increments behind the current release, or an equivalent browser.

  • A valid email account that you have access to and that can receive email.

  • An internet-connected computer or smartphone.

  • For SMS text messaging or in-mobile application messaging, a smartphone that supports text messaging, downloading and applications from the Apple Store or Google Play.

Changes to System Requirements

If our system requirements change and that change would create a material risk that you would not be able to access or retain electronic Communications, we will give you notice of the revised system requirements. Continuing to use our Services after receiving notice of the change is reaffirmation of your consent.

Paper Delivery of Communications

You have the right to receive Communications in paper form. We have no obligation to, and will not, send any Communications in paper form unless requested by you to do so. To request a paper copy of any Communication, please write to DIRECT Cardholder Services, P.O. Box 2364, Lake Oswego, OR 97035 or email clientservice@directb.net, specifying in detail the Communication you would like to receive.

Withdrawal of Consent to Electronic Communications

You may withdraw your consent to receive electronic Communications at any time, by writing to the address set forth in the above preceding paragraph. However, withdrawal of your consent to receive electronic Communications will result in termination of your access to Services and your Direct Card. Any withdrawal of your consent will be effective after a reasonable period of time for processing your request.

Updating Your Contact Information

It is your responsibility to provide Direct with an accurate and complete email address and other contact information. You can update contact information such as your email address and phone number via the website directb.net or DIRECT Mobile Banking App. You may also update your email address and phone number by contacting us at 1-833-263-2826 or clientservice@directb.net.

Survival

The obligations in this agreement of the parties set fourth shall remain in perpetuity without limitation as to time.

I HAVE READ AND AGREE to the E-Sign Consent Agreement above in its entirety. I agree to receive Communications electronically and confirm my ability to receive Communications electronically.


Your agreement to this E-Sign Consent Agreement is collected by you at time of enrollment.
